This summer, Langley’s sports teams are coming together to support something bigger than the game - raising critical funds for urgently needed equipment at Langley Memorial Hospital.

It’s a celebration of sport, wellness and the health care workers who care for us all.

Langley Memorial Hospital is facing urgent needs for medical equipment that helps save lives and keep our community healthy. Every dollar raised through Sports Injury Month directly supports those needs - and every fan, athlete and supporter plays a part.

A Rosé Affair

Join us for our second annual Sports Injury Month kick-off event at Thunderbird Show Park on Saturday, Aug. 16: a live horse show, a buffet dinner and exciting fundraising games - all in support of urgent health care needs in Langley.

Here’s how it works:

We’re partnering with local teams - including the Vancouver Bandits, Langley Rams, Langley Rivermen, Langley Thunder, Langley Rugby Club, Vancouver Giants, Vancouver Football Club and Thunderbird Show Park - to host Sports Injury Month game nights. Each team will choose one home game to spotlight:

  • Donation drives and raffles

  • Interactive activities for fans

  • Tributes to Langley’s health care heroes

Whether you’re cheering from the stands, coaching a kids’ team or part of your local walking group, you can make a difference.

Support your local hospital by attending a local game!
