Meet Dr. Sarah Lord, a surgeon at Langley Memorial Hospital.
Every year, Dr. Lord and her colleagues perform nearly 6,000 operations. Some are quick and straightforward; some are complex and life-changing.
It may surprise you to learn that many of the medical tools they rely on are out of date. They work, but they can’t always give patients the comfort, precision or speed of recovery that we all expect from modern medicine.
Your generosity will ensure that every patient in our community has access to safe, timely procedures with the most up-to-date surgical tools. Your support will help us secure specialized equipment to improve surgical outcomes and make procedures safer for every patient at Langley Memorial.

Operating Room tables: Adjustable tables that support patients during surgery.
