Our Areas of Greatest Need fund allows the Foundation to react to the urgent health care needs of the community, purchasing hospital equipment and funding essential programs and services that improve local health for our residents within the hospital and across the community.

By listening and responding to community need, the Foundation is directing your gifts to the areas of care where donor generosity make the most impact on patient care.

Every dollar raised stays in Langley, improving the health and wellbeing of our local residents at every stage in life.

    • Surgeons perform procedures essential to cancer care,

    • Medical imaging technologists oversee important scans for thousands of patients a year,

    • Staff serve long-term care residents with care and compassion,

    • Physicians and nurses treat patients in emergencies,

    • Caregivers deliver thousands of babies every year.

    • Volunteers deliver nutritious meals to low-income seniors, newly-discharged patients and individuals with limited employment benefits,

    • At Langley’s Child and Youth Advocacy Centre, children and youth aged 0-19 find the compassionate, trauma-informed and culturally responsive services they need to heal from abuse,

    • Youth aged 12-24 receive mental health services, physical wellness help and peer support at Foundry Langley.
