Otter Co-op is hosting a “Pancakes with a Purpose” community pancake breakfast Monday, July 28 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Aldergrove retail centre at 3650 248 St.

The event is a fundraiser for Langley Community Health & Hospital Foundation, with proceeds going towards the Foundation’s Child and Youth Fund. Pancakes will be served, with syrup donated by Krause Berry Farms and Estate Winery.

The event, a partnership between Otter Co-op and Horizon Contracting Group, is by-donation, with all proceeds going to support youth health services.

They include Foundry Langley, a wellness hub for youth ages 12 to 24, offering mental health, substance use and primary care, and the newly created Langley-based Child and Youth Advocacy Centre, offering coordinated counselling, medical and judicial response to child abuse, and crimes against children and youth.
